파이브콤마는 수공예 기반의 직조 작업을 통해 손으로만 구현할 수 있는 고유의 질감을 탐구하며, 미술과 상업 등 다양한 영역에서 텍스타일 설치를 선보여왔다. 사용성에 의해 한계 지어졌던 재료나 기법으로서의 직물이 아닌, 감상하고 감각하는 대상으로서의 직물을 만들어 가고 있다.

FIVECOMMA explores distinctive textures that can only be realised by hand through craft-based weaving practices, and has presented textile installations across diverse fields spanning art and commerce. Rather than treating textile merely as a material or technique limited by utility, the studio creates textiles as objects to be contemplated and experienced through the senses.
